Kenneth E. Stephens Jr.

“I truly enjoy helping small, medium, and large companies in this industry develop solutions to complex problems that arise in construction.”

Attorney Kenneth Stephens is a native of Lakeland, FL, but has called Houston home since 2005. Before law school, Kenneth had a strong interest in business and got his bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. During law school Kenneth worked with a boutique litigation firm. It was there that he first cut his teeth as a litigator.

Since then Kenneth has represented general contractors, subcontractors, developers, franchises, and more in commercial, residential, and public projects. He has been involved in the negotiation of deals, assessed project risks through contract review, and litigated construction disputes. In one case in which Kenneth was representing a general contractor in a seven figure defect dispute, he was able to convince the opposing counsel to drop all of the claims and the contractor paid nothing. In other disputes, Kenneth has helped contractors reach settlement agreements that were a fraction of the damages initially sought by the opposing party. On the Plaintiff's side, Kenneth's advocacy has allowed clients to recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.

Kenneth is an active member of the Construction Law Section of Houston Bar Association, Construction Law Section of The State Bar of Texas, The Greater Houston Builder's Association, and The Texas Builders Association. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
