2015-138687 SJR vs. Infinity Trade Capital

Represented the Plaintiff in a breach of contract and fraud dispute. Stephens PLLC moved for summary judgment on Plaintiff's breach of contract claims and won. Stephens PLLC then used the summary judgment win as leverage during mediation and plaintiff was paid damages after the parties agreed to settle at mediation. This allowed Plaintiff to recover money owed without the expenses associated with trial.


15-09-09714 Paul Stroade vs. Doug Davis Construction Inc.

Represented Defendant General Contractor in a construction defect dispute with seven figure damages claim. Stephens PLLC filed an answer and counterclaim alleging nonpayment. After some discovery and discussion of the merits, the plaintiff requested a take nothing settlement so long as Defendant general contractor dropped all counterclaims.


2017-66261-7 Trinity Consulting Inc. vs. Keyva Control Inc.

Represented Plaintiff general contractor in a nonpayment/commercial defect dispute involving construction of a commercial building. It was alleged that there were many defects with the property and this was used as a justification for non-payment. Stephens PLLC filed construction lien and filed suit to begin lien foreclosure proceedings. Plaintiff was paid in full and paid attorney’s fees before trial.
